The online portion uses the award winning program Global English (take a Tour right now! ). Global English provides online modules that you can also use offline to help you use English more effectively on the job from day one. A 45 minute assessment places you in one of 12 levels -- from beginner to graduate school level. In fact, you can even study for the TOEFL exam with Global English at no extra cost. Besides the core program, Global English offers lots of supplemental exercises and material to keep you engaged. For instance, live convervation classes are available 24/7. Take a tour to see for yourself how Global English with Maestro can help you learn English Faster.

The in person portion takes place at Catholic University Saturdays 10 am - 12 noon. During class we'll work on speaking, writing, and vocabulary building. And your teacher will be there to answer any questions you have and motivate you to do your best.

Every month we'll also take a trip visit a cultural or educational site such as the monuments, the Smithsonian museums or the Kennedy Center. We'll try to arrange those at a time and day convenient to participants. By meeting informally for these trips, students will practice in the most authentic way possible.
